Narrow Win!!

Who'd have thought Liverpool would have to work so hard to see out a side like Blackburn, but thats exactly what happened. The reds were a mess in midfield and Blackburn enjoyed a great deal of possession in the middle of the park. In the end it was Stevie G and El Nino to the rescue but the win was far from convincing. In fact, if it wasn't for Reina's full stretch diving save in the dying minutes, Liverpool were buried.

Again i don't understand why Rafa keeps on playing Lucas who has very little creativity to offer. Liverpool have sorely missed Alonso this season. Aquilani should be given regular starts in order to prove his worth to the Anfield faithful. Plus there was no invention from Liverpool in the wide areas as well.

I really hope that Liverpool will build on this victory to go on and finish in the top four.

Its high time, it really is for Liverpool to step up the gear if they want to give themselves a good chance of playing Champions League football next season.
